LEGAL METROLOGY

The Department of Legal Metrology of Kerala seeks to protect the interest of the people by providing actual assistance and services of legal metrology and to ensure the correctness in all sorts of measurements particularly related to the commercial transactions. 

All establishments where packing is carried out should take the following approvals from the legal metrology dept:

• Packer Registration

• Importer Registration
